I live in Ontario and Playbill is telling me that shipping (for a singular playbill) is over $40. Obviously, that's an insane amount I refuse to pay. Is there anywhere else I can look that offers reasonable shipping?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I would also love to know where I can find the playbill binders. I was down in the city this week. Everywhere is sold out. Even playbill was saying online. But their shipping rates to the states is ridiculous

Isn't it a customs issue more than a shipping issue. So, they include that up front, whereas someone else shipping it, you'd have to pay it on the other end?

I live in Montreal I just came back from a trip from the fleamarket New York City. Please let me know which playbills are looking for since I have a huge collection and just got some recent ones having seen some shows. I am also looking for a playbill binder and they were nowhere to be found in Manhattan. Even the playbill store had a table at the flea market and they did not have any!

Can the 'Playbill Binders' be physically bought at a location in NYC? Or is the only way to purchase through the Playbill website? Are there any stores in NYC that physically sell them?

I do recall The Drama Book Shop selling the binders, but I haven't been in 2 years.

thanks for the recommendation - sent them an email but they said 'we aren't selling at this time, contact playbill'

(wanted to post a response in case anyone down the line searches for this as i couldn't find anything when i did a search of the board)

I have two extra Ultimate Playbill binders purchased from Playbill.com in like new condition with sleeves.  I’m asking $40 each or $75 for both fedex ground shipping included.   PM me if interested.  Reasonable offers accepted

It seems like someone on another thread was selling the binders for $5 apiece and had plenty of them and was willing to bring them to the flea market for anyone interested. I know the flea market just happened, but if someone can remember who it was maybe that would be cheaper way to go?

I doubt strongly that the $5 binders you mentioned are the binders I have mentioned in my previous post
