FERRYMAN question#1
Posted: 9/28/18 at 12:30pm
This is a very stupid question, and for some reason no Ferryman threads are popping up for me? But I just saw a casting notice for future replacements for a baby role. The baby must be younger than 6 months old.

Does this baby get payed? Like I guess good for them for not using a doll but with all these children actors and actresses is this production going to be a lot of money to run?

(If this was already answered please point me in the direction of the thread! Im getting really sick of this mobile version, wont let you do anything)

Yes, the baby gets paid the same as a baby in a commercial gets paid.

I saw it in London and spent most of my time talking about the play discussing about how the baby was so cute and the little scene where he is the focus was amazing because that baby was so well-behaved and didn't look around at the lights and audience.

I believe there are 3 babies that share the role... and indeed get paid.

the running cost of the whole show is on a par with a musical..thanks to its huge cast.. certainly was in London.
