Need Help Finding a Show?#1

For my school's musical this year, they've been giving us little hints as to what the show could be, but I can't seem to figure it out. The clues are:
1. It's an obscure show
2. It's been on Broadway twice, but the one we're doing is a revised version but the revised version wasn't on Broadway. (They won't tell us if it was on Off-Broadway)
3. The original Broadway production was before 1980
4. It is an ensemble-heavy show.
Any ideas on what it could be?

It turned out to be "Good News" which is from the 1920's and was revived on Broadway once in 1974. Thanks everyone.

That's definitely obscure.

Your director should be shot. What a sexist load of crap. I cant tell who should be more upset, your male classmates or female.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
