I'm promise I'm not suggesting you're doing anything shady, or criticizing- it just strikes me as odd.
And it's ok if it's something you dont want to talk about....it really isnt any of my business.

I have no problem answering your question, but I don't think it is odd to sell tickets I paid for at a cheaper price. I order 2 tickets for me and my husband when we want to see something. I am a working actor and my husband is a pilot. When either us can't go I would rather offer them at face value or cheaper to a fellow member than StubHub or anywhere else. I'd rather someone who actually wants to go be able to than have the ticket go unused or sold to a scalper.
You're absolutely right is none of your business, but you basically called me out so I am going to answer to protect myself and my future postings.
But today's reason....My father passed away on Friday morning. So hopefully you can understand why I am persistent on selling. Because it is giving me something to do.
I have been part of this board for a rather long time and have never had an issue. You could have private messaged me.
But I hope you got the answer you were looking for.

Hunter....as I said, I wasnt implying you were doing anything wrong...it was just curious that you often sell your tickets - it had nothing to do with price.
I wasnt "calling you out". I'm sorry if my curiosity offended you, that wasnt my intent, at all.
Sorry for your loss.

“Unfortunately, I have a work issue and cannot attend the show (not a happy camper!). I have tickets to "Girl From The North Country" this Sunday (9/16) at 1:30pm. I bought them through the TodayTix app. The tickets are to be picked up at the theatre. I just have the confirmation email and the options to Change the name of the person who will pick them up.”

I don’t think I need to ever have to justify why I am selling a ticket! It’s in no ones business. I said work because I could even put into words that my father has passed. So I was trying to save myself more emotional damage. But for you to even post this to prove I’m a liar? Sad! Show a lot about yoir character, to go after someone like this and require for proof!
iI am going to bow out from these message boards for a while. It’s an extremely harsh and and judgement filled. No one has anything to do that be negative and hurt people. This is a board to talk about things we love, but people try to tear other down. It’s not for me anymore.
Way to old for this.
