I have 2 tickets to Harry Potter & the cursed child for October 14,2018. The tickets are for Part 1 & Part 2 on the same day. I am unfortunately unable to attend & would like to sell the tickets. I can transfer the tickets via ticketmaster. The seating is Orchestra level S 1 & S 3. The seats are next to each other. The price is $300 for each ticket. Since it's for 2 parts & 2 tickets each the total would be $1200. Email me at tempus86@gmail.com if interested.

You’d be better off if you posted your asking price right here. Also, you can drop a message about the tickets you have for sale in this thread:

https://www.broadwayworld.com/board/readmessage.php?thread=1104983&dt=2289

Hope they sell!

Hi Sgogo,

I'm writing as someone who recently had a ticket I couldn't use after someone in my party cancelled...

You'll never sell those seats on this message board at face value... The show has been releasing premium seats on a regular basis and, for example, far better seats (Row A, seats 2, 4) are available on your same date at the same price.  Also, tickets at $199 per part are available pretty close to your seats elsewhere in the Orchestra.  I'm guessing you got those tickets as part of the first lottery - if so, call Ticketmaster and return them while you're still within your "return window."  Or, if you can't return them, you might have better luck reselling them on Stub Hub where people aren't as well-educated about the available seats for this show.  If you want to try selling them here, try discounting them 25-30% off face value and put the discount amount in the title of your post.  I know it's annoying to lose money on the tickets, but it's more annoying to be stuck with tickets that you can't use.  I hope this is helpful and good luck!

Unlikely. Past-dating requires the availability of unsold seats, and they can't,  in general,  be reserved in advance.  Since by performance date the show is sold out,  the would be no availability.  But it never hurts to ask. I've noticed some same- day availability recently.  It's at the sole discretion of the theater,  not the production.

Ya sadly I bought these tickets. If I had won them in the lottery I would never try to sell them. I would just give them away. But I actually reduced the price from what I paid because it includes the ATG lounge experience & that was extra for me. Thanks for the tip. I will try other sites as well.

I believe they meant the first "lottery-style" sale, which required an access code that was given randomly to verified fans via Ticketmaster.

If you bought your tickets through Ticketmaster in the access code sales that occurred in October 2017 or February 2018, you can return them for a full refund up to 14 days prior to the performance (so by 9/30). If you bought them in the April sale (which did NOT require an access code), you can return them up to 28 days prior to the performance (so...today). They are nonrefundable if you bought them in May or later.

This is somewhat correct, but reversed. I can't remember the exact dates, but tickets purchased before the first week in April are refundable up to 28 days before the performance, tickets purchased between the first week in April and the first week in May are refundable up to 14 days before the performance, and tickets purchased after the first week in May are non-refundable.

That doesn't make sense to me - why would they make their return policy more generous than it was, then immediately eliminate all returns?

My email confirmation from the February 7 sale says the following:

Return Policy - If you would like to return a ticket, please contact Ticketmaster at (800) 653-8000.

All tickets purchased over 28 days prior to a performance can be returned for a refund any time up to 14 days prior to the performance time.

Refunds may not be guaranteed for tickets purchased within 28 days of a performance. However, please do contact Ticketmaster if circumstances mean you are unable to attend and they will endeavor to assist you.

All returns are at the discretion of the box office.

Tickets I bought on April 23 don't have a return policy listed (but I was able to return them). I'm pretty sure it was 14 days, then 28 days, then nonrefundable.

Interesting. Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly.

You're totally right, I don't know what I was thinking. In my mind, 28 days was the more genrerous window, but, clearly, that doesn't make sense. Sorry about that.

It seems the production team of HP&CC made it impossible to get a refund or an exchange on tickets. They wanted to make sure people actually went to the performance. I spoke to ticketmaster & they said they can't even process it b/c the refund & exchange option for this show has been disabled.  I tried lyric theater & they said they can't do anything & that it's the people who basically run the show. I am worried that I misjudged the hype for the show. Let's hope I can get someone to buy the tickets. But no more refunds on this show tickets.

Hope you are able to find a buyer!  (And I'm sorry they are no longer allowing refunds)
