For reading, I highly recommend Tana French's Dublin Murder Squad series. It helps to read them in order as the protagonist of each is a supporting character from a previous novel: In the Woods The Likeness (my personal favorite) Faithful Place Broken Harbour The Secret Place The Trespasser
Her latest was just released last week, The Witch Elm, but I haven't started it yet. Apparently, it is her first novel outside the Dublin Murder Squad series.
