BCEFA Flea Market 2018 Collectors Unite!

Just planned my trip to New York City for the end of September to attend the BCEFA flea market once again. Had some great experiences over the past few years acquiring items from shows that I thoroughly enjoyed while vacationing in NYC. Highlights last year were rare items from Hamilton Hello Dolly and Dear Evan Hansen at great prices. I always find it curious why it takes so long to get details concerning this event as that would be helpful for those people who want to plan attending this year.
Last year I was on the lookout for items collectors and broadway fans  were seeking who could not attend and I managed to find many for them at the event. Please let me know if any of you fellow Broadway fans have any special requests as I will be happy to look out for specific items with the budget you have in mind again this year! You can either post here or private message me if you wish.
Hoping to see Bruce Springsteen on Broadway this time and hoping for a Springsteen table with collectibles.

What are fans most interested in seeing this year in terms of show tables?

If there are any insiders or organizers this year that have any information please share some details.
Looking forward to another great flea market again this year in the hopes that they break records as they do every year.

Last year, I was on the hunt for leftover Oh, Hello merch or fun collectibles but couldn’t find anything. I heard some merchandisers will wait a year before putting out stuff, so if there’s anything at Broadway Flea this year, I’d love to know. Still not sure if I’ll be able to attend.

I'm really hoping Hello, Dolly! has a table, given it just closed. Not sure it will, but fingers crossed!

I'll be dying for a great comet shirt and window card. Literally, I've spent a full year looking to find one shirt and I can't even wear it since the red doesn't reflect well on me.
I'll be looking for next to normal stuff too but both of those are so unlikely. I guess I'll just be waiting to see, but I'm going with a team so ~maybe~ I can make comet happen.

I usually hunt for Tony voter scripts, but since The Band's Visit is published and I don't think SpongeBob sent one out, I'm going to take things light this year.  I'll go for books and CDs that look interesting, I might get discount frames from Triton Gallery, and I'll get things I think friends would like.

I’ll definitely be looking for things from The Band’s Visit and Dear Evan Hansen! (hoping they sell some of the arm casts that Evan wears during the show, would love one but I know they’d be expensive)

Apparently they did. I think it might just be that poster you mentioned.  I saw the show a couple weeks before it closed and the lady said that they had sold out of once posters and next restocked.  But it’s the only show I’ve seen that I still don’t own a window card for.

I am on the lookout for a Newsies hoodie, Prince of Broadway Windowcard, playbills from the original run of Angels in America, and a bunch of cheap cast recordings. I'm also hoping with Spongebob closing o the 16th thre might be some fun things, whether cheap merch or stuff from the stage.

Also I'm curious on people's opinions on something. Obviously this is a charity event, and that many stars take the time to meet with fans at the autograph table. However if you see a star walking around, just casually, is it inappropriate to ask for a picture? I remember freaking out bc I saw Andrew Keenan-Bolger just hanging around and really wanted to ask for a picture, but I felt it was the wrong time, especially how you donate to get access to the autograph tables. What are is your opinions?

I had a similar situation a couple of years ago.  Where I wanted to meet someone that was hanging out there so I actually just asked for a pic and an autograph (which may have at first sounded weird) but then I gave them a donation and asked if it was possible to donate it to BCEFA. And thanked them for their time. Because BCEFA is so well supported on Broadway people seem to be very happy to take the time. They actually brought the money right away to someone they knew working.      So I see nothing wrong. But that’s just my opinion

Last year the DEH arm casts cost $500 each from what I recall... and the price did not budge at all even later in the day. Good luck!

Usually very close to the event, a day out or less. I recall people freaking out in past years that it wasn't posted yet, etc.

I think last years it was about a week out from the event. Maybe a little bit more.

I guess I got my answer- the BCEFA website has the tables, and it says autograph table participants will be announced 9/18.

I'll be looking for ANYTHING Angels In America related, and I'm curious to see what kind of stuff Cursed Child is going to have (in hopes that they will, in fact, have a table).
