Hello All!

I just got a new foster daughter and am decorating her nursery as a "Broadway Baby" theme. Can you please help me brainstorm some really great quotes from shows to decorate the walls with. I have a few in mind, but my husband is concerned that it's not "babyish" enough. Let me know if you can think of any good ones!

Thanks!

Here's the thing about baby's rooms... Like first birthday parties and designer baby clothes, they're more for the adults than the child. Babies are too young to ever know what words you write on the walls.

Given that, I hope you and your husband will be comfortable designing the room for yourselves (well... with the intent of including things that ARE stimulating for a baby, like color, mobiles, etc...).

I love your idea. For me, it would make me want to spend as much time in that room as possible - even during times when it's not so much fun (i.e., crying fits, teething tears, etc...). I hope you will choose quotes that inspire both you and your husband to enjoy ALL the time you spend with your baby, and that remind you of the kind of parents you want to be, in that room together with your baby.

Some options for quotes:

Baby: The Story Goes On (“Our story goes on, and on, and on and on!&rdquoBroadway Baby Nursery The Fatherhood Blues (“My head is high, and the air is sweet, and the street will not stay under my feet&rdquoBroadway Baby Nursery

Big: Stop Time (“two month old she looks up at you, how her smile melts your heart! You wanna say, ‘Stop Time’; Don’t move on...”

Into the Woods: Children Will Listen (“Children will listen…&rdquoBroadway Baby Nursery

THere's plenty more you and your husband can find together. Have fun!
