Great Comet regional productions? |
Call_me_jorge said: "It’s been a year since the broadway production closed, and despite an announcement for a tour I doubt it’s going to. Does anyone know if the rights will be available to regional houses soon? I just want one of the theatres in the Chicago area to be able to take on this show."
The rights have been available through Samuel French for years (before it even opened on Broadway). https://www.samuelfrench.com/p/17384/natasha-pierre-the-great-comet-of-1812
The rights are not currently available through Samuel French. Samuel French holds the rights, but the show is not currently available for licensing. There’s a difference.
From the Samuel French website:
“This title is currently unavailable for licensing in the United States and Canada. Please contact your representative to note interest for future seasons.”

Since it's not available for the US and Canada, I'm willing to kickstart an English-version of Comet in Tijuana.
You're all welcome.
