I was able to snag a balcony seat for this. Looks like a small theater.  Anyone else going?  I love her and I have never been to this venue.

I was just looking at the partial view, Balcony AA seats. I also love her, and wonder how much these seats miss. The theater definitely seems tiny, but I’ve never been there either.

Going this Friday. Wish I had some idea of the running time because I have a 9:30 show at 54 Below that night.

Considering it is a two act show that starts at 7:30, you are probably going to be cutting it close.

Thanks Willep. Didn't realize it was 2 acts.

I just got that off the playwright’s website, I have no idea how long each act is. For all I know they could be short, but I would just be ready for it to be a two hour show.

I’ll be there next Sunday. The space is very intimate with great views from the balcony.

Some people paint, some people sew, I meddle.

Where are you seeing that it's 2 acts? Ticket central says "Intermission TBD.

In any case, I'm seeing it this coming Saturday. I know very little about Edie Falco except she's highly regarded as an actress, so I'm excited to see her! Michael McKean is wonderful too.

Gotcha! Thanks for the link. I wonder if it's 2 acts like a normal a 2 act play, or if it's 2 acts in the way that Three Tall Women is two acts.

Curious about those partial view balcony seats as that and a couple of last row balcony seats are all that is available on any of the nights I can go.  And how is this theater on leg space?

A tale of electoral politics. The writing and narrative are fair, but too much if it treads water and repeats points already made. A few scenes have dramatic vitality, but the main character relationships are insufficiently fleshed out.

The lead character is driven and grating. Edie Falco tackles the part head on, and does a commendable job with it. Peter Scolari is very good. Others are still finding their way in their roles.

Just saw the matinee, and there was no intermission.

Edie Falco is a marvel. I can’t say how this performance compares to her earlier work, but it sure converted me to the church of Edie. I never got tired of watching her throughout the whole show, and she’s onstage pretty much the entire time. So in that sense, I did enjoy it.

The play itself was fine, but it felt a bit too dense one and one-note.

Looking forward to it. I love her so much . Did you sit in the cheap balcony seats? How were they? Very curious about the venue.

I sat in the orchestra for this one, but I've sat in the balcony for other shows. It's totally fine. The venue is very intimate.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the partial view balcony "box seats." I've never been there either, and I'm also curious about them, since I bought one for Clueless.

I actually chose the last row of the balcony over the partial view seats .  They were the only options available.

Gotcha. Well, I'm sure you'll be more than fine, since the theatre is tiny.

I saw this on Saturday.  I thought it was a nice piece of writing, though there are some shortcomings in the portrayal of the ambiguity concerning  the relationship between the Falco and McKean characters.  The acting was excellent, especially Falco and Scolari.  Not a riveting show, but I found it satisfying and sometimes poignant.

(As far as seating, I was third row orchestra, and I've never sat in the balcony in that theatre, so I can't help with that)

Thanks guys . And glad to hear the mostly positive thoughts on the evening. I picked this one blindly just because of Edie Falco.
