Interesting. That new artwork will confuse the tourists in the TKTS line even more. I'm an avid theatre-goer and even I would think that Cher is appearing in the show, if I didn't already know better.

The new artwork looks very nice.  As far as tourists thinking Cher is in the show.............well, many people still think that Cyndi Lauper is in "Kinky Boots."  So - there you go.

I love it too. Plus, I think Stephanie J Block is basically as Cher as you can get without being Cher so people being mislead will be fine.

I don't know why they'd think of Cyndi Lauper by looking at this logo. Cher's name and likeness are a part of the show's new logo. Silly comparison, nealb1!

Cyndi Lauper's name is on theatre poster where "Kinky Boots" is playing - with her name in very big letters.  People see it, and think she's in it.  Not realizing that she wrote it.   It's not a silly comparison at all.

Agree. tourists are simply stupid... they see her name and just may think she's in it!
