We can only hope.
I wonder if Mr. Davenport née Hasija would be more successful if he returned to law school and followed that path?

And since Davenport has scripted himself a curtain speech as part of a show, this means as actor-producer he doubly doesn't want to look at an empty house.
It has averaged a gross of $232,400 per week over its six-week run, with the numbers dropping in recent weeks, so it is, as the popular saying goes, hemorrhaging money in quite large amounts. And the fact that the producing team is practically asking strangers on the street to invest indicates that they haven't much reserve to keep running until a highly improbable boost from word of mouth happens.

True, but HOH was taken off all together. In GTBBT’s case, the last two weeks of performances have disappeared but everything else is still available.

That is incredibly rude. Wishing a closing on a show? Wishing actors out of work? This is so incredibly rude and you should be ashamed.""
Lol okay. You can unclutch your pearls now.
That'll be awkward. Playbill's national edition has Marilu Henner on the cover and is full of promotion for the show (which I believe means the in-theatre Playbills will also have in September).

Well, all of a person's wishes don't matter if the weekly grosses are high... in this case, the closing would still come down to $$$ over people liking or not liking a show.
I got the email from Goldstar too, just giving these away. Completely free tickets and people still could not care less. Instead of performing to empty houses (I can't even imagine how tough that would be), show some mercy Ken and close the damn thing!

It's not a code - you have to purchase them through Goldstar (or Groupon, I see is now a thing). Visit their sites and search for the show. You'll have to pay the convenience fees and dates are likely limited - I didn't bother clicking through for info since I've already seen the show.
This isn't anything new on Goldstar. They put a VERY small number of tickets on sale for free, in the hopes that word will spread and people will go there and when they find it is sold out, decide they want to go anyway and buy a ticket.
