Just an FYI this my first post but I've used this site for reading posts so this is exciting.
Anyway, I have an audition coming up for "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" and I am not sure if I want Monty or The D'Ysquith Family. I think I'm going to use the song "I Want to Fly" from Flight of the Lawnchair Man but where I'm stuck is a monologue to use. I am to perform one monologue for the audition so I am looking for a male comedic monologue that allows for a lot of physical comedy since both characters involve physical comedy. I am leaning towards the D'Ysquith Family but I'm not entirely sure. Any recommendations are helpful. Thanks.
