I'm not one to spread baseless rumors, but I came across this one on Talkin' Broadway, and I have to admit it makes perfect sense. Thoughts?

I swear this will be my last stab at Be more chill. But if this is true, Be more chill is finished. This will sweep. I love the cast and cant wait to hear reviews on this. I think its a super smart move if true.

The transfer has been referenced before. I think the only new bit is the Kerr, although I don't personally get into the specific theater bit as much.

That said, if your Tony handicapping only works if high quality shows don't transfer, then it sounds like BMC doesn't really deserve it as much as it could land in a weak year and score undeservedly?

Right now the season is wide-open for BEST anything categories... so would be smart to bring in something a little risky.

Saw it in London- with my brother. I did not like it- nor did my brother. It is a downtrodden little tale about a family during the Depression- with dreary Dylan music as a soundtrack. It was a sad tale and did not move me at all. Very disappointing. But, I LOVED The Ferryman, LOVED Mary Stuart- that should be transferred- LOVED Everybody's Talking About Jamie- those would be great transfers, IMO- and of ;curse, The Ferryman is coming soon- and I bet it will be a huge hit-deservedly so.

I saw it twice in London and was hugely moved by it.

It's a pity American audiences won't get to see Shirley Henderson, Debbie Kurup and especially the astonishing Sheila Atim, but I hope it is a huge success: given the powers behind this show, I think a transfer is inevitable.
