Thought the first episode was brilliant , funny , biting , dark. Loved everything about it.

Now three episodes in, and sadly it’s starting to lose its way.

Any one else watch?

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I only watched the first episode (so far) and I don't know what to make of it.   I wish the lead were more likable, sympathetic.  But she falls into the lying, bitter and manipulator WAAY too easily.  The end of the that esisode, did hint that was changing.

It's hard to believe in one scene she has to be coached into having confidence, when the scenes surrounding it are flirting and making out with the convenience store worker and seducing the homeless man.

I'll watch a few more, but we'll see.

I made it about 15 minutes into this and turned it off. I can get down with this kind of dark comedy (Drop Dead Gorgeous is one of my favorites), but the writing is terrible. When that first contestant’s mother jumps up on stage and shouts to the audience that her daughter’s coach touched her “hoo-hoo,” I couldn’t have rolled my eyes any harder.

I made it through all 12 and I can safely say that this is one of the worst shows to ever grace Netflix and that's saying quite a lot. A hot disastrous mess from beginning to end that doesn't do anything with it's concept that's been done better and funnier in other forms of media; plus I feel bad for the cast to be saddled with this show, they deserve better.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch GLOW and TrollHunters to get this horrid piece of garbage out of my head.

I've watched all of the episodes.  I will say this, Alyssa Milano has never looked better.

I agree - and she's the best thing about the show!

This show isn't funny and is probably VERY upsetting to anyone that has struggled with an eating disorder. I'm also sick of "comedies" that involve kids being mean to each other. We don't need that. There's a lot of good stuff on Netflix, watch that stuff instead.

It's weird- I didn't like the characters really besides the Bobs and Nonnie (and the Asian boy but he's minor) and I didn't think it was funny but it felt like a "so bad it's good" type of situation. I'd watch a season 2 of it, and I was able to finish it in two days. I like how they handled the LGBT storyline as well, which was a major bonus.

Nope, not for me, made it through 3 episodes.

I love a Drop Dead Gorgeous type of dark comedy as well, but I found this dreadful. For a comedy it's not funny or biting or interesting. I think the elements are there, but needs a stronger writer.
