Nice!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Yeah I’ll be there for a weekend in January seeing TKAM and Lifespan of a Fact, gonna add this in. Pretty excited, heard excellent things about the London production

Exciting to hear. Is Cranston now the frontrunner for Best Actor in a Play?

Based on star power alone, I would say so. But who would he be up against? I don't know too many of the other plays well enough to know.

Is Brian Cranston currently in a series? I see that it's a limited engagement, but I would DEARLY love for it to extend through June, when I have a NY trip scheduled. (I'm also aware of the upcoming Cort construction)
I'm not expecting it, but it would be great.

He will definitely face competition from Jeff Daniels in another iconic movie role, Atticus Finch. But I would agree that Cranston is the front-runner.

Mark, Cranston doesn't have a series but eight months would be very long for a limited engagement. Plus the role is apparently exhausting.

Also in the mix are Michael Urie, Ethan Hawke (TRUE WEST), Lucas Hedges/Michael Cera (THE WAVERLY GALLERY), the cast of INK.  There was also an announced revival of BURN THIS with Adam Driver).  It'll be a crowded field.

Sept. 12 Audience Rewards, Sept. 14 general public. I think there's also an even earlier AmEx pre-sale, but I didn't pay attention to the date.

So much for JAGGED LITTLE PILL taking the Cort.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Hopefully they're making changes to JLP and will bring it in in the spring.

Plenty of other theatres that JAGGED could still take... Jujamcyn's Kerr, or Shubert Org's Golden, Lyceum, Longacre, Booth, possibly Belasco.

Are they renovating before?

Don’t see how they’d have time, If previews start in November

actually since the theatre needs renovation I'm gonna guess that they will rip the **** out of the stage and orchestra to accommodate the production. A theatre in a bit of disrepair might just make the production a bit "site specific."  Just my guess as to why they are taking this theatre for the run an not a larger one.

I hope this is the case... I don’t see how the current production could fit in a proscenium as small as the Cort’s based on the photos and videos I have seen of the National’s production....

Paddy Considine should also get some consideration for The Ferryman.
