If you never got to see the award-winning 1994 National Theatre revival of An Inspector Calls directed by Stephen Daldry, you may get your chance!  The production recently saw an extended run in the West End and its tour will stop at a few US regional houses starting in late 2018.  Tour info.

This is my favorite production of any play I've ever seen.  I saw this once on Broadway and twice in London.  I haven't seen this particular tour, but it's received strong reviews and appears to be a pretty faithful recreation (if slightly scaled down from its original West End/Broadway runs for obvious reasons).  I'm insanely excited about the opportunity to revisit it.  Few legendary productions get revived in productions that recreate precisely what defined them as legendary (the NT revival of Carousel immediately springs to mind), but I've loved how this has remained intact for over 20 years in the UK.  The main reason I'm posting this here is with the hope that perhaps a few others will be as taken with it as I was the first time I saw it.  I purchased season tickets for the Chicago Shakespeare because the theatre company is so popular, it's often tough to get single tickets for the majority of their shows (and I'm very interested in seeing the other shows in the season).

Saw this in London. I absolutely hated the play itself, but the staging is indeed stunning.
