All Female "1776" Tour#1

Just noticed this on NETworks' website, which links to the Road Company for booking.
They list Jenny Leon as director, who directed the all female 1776 concert at 54 Below.
Think the tour will come to fruition?

I’m thinking of doing a gender-flexible 1776 at my school, but a purposely all-female one? Why? Just to “stick it to the man?” Are they all the characters lesbians now? This just seems silly.

Maybe for the same reason Hamilton only casts people of color for the lead roles: the founders of the country have entered into a kind of mythic status* that transcends race/gender and we should recognize that by allowing everyone to see a part of themselves in the roles.

*to be clear I'm not saying it's a deserved status, but I seem to recall this being a driving force behind LMM's authorship and instructions for the show.
