Wanting to see Once on this Island around Christmas time. Anyone thinking it will last that long? I really hope t does. I want to see it so badly.

Because of the Tony, I think it has the potential to run that long, but it all depends on the attendance until then. Now that Lea Salonga is gone too, it kind of brings the attendance down. Hopefully you get to see it, it's amazing!!

There was an announcement a few weeks ago that the show released a new block of tickets through September 2019. Thankfully, it will be there when you visit the city!

as has been rehearsed many times, tickets being on sale has nothing to do with how long a show ran. 

this is even more true today since they don't have to print tickets to put them on sale like they did in the old days.

The producers could choose to close it at any time due to low ticket sales, but as of now it's on sale through September 2019. Last week it was the 5th lowest-grossing show on Broadway, at one of the most popular theatergoing times of the year.

My guess is you have a 50% chance of it still being open 3-4 months from now.
