It can be either a musical that hasn't been adapted yet or a musical that got a bad adaptation.Personally, I'd like to see a film adaptation of the musical Ragtime.
Follies (to have a filmed record of the show, not necessarily because I think it would be a great movie)Kinky Boots, the musical
Follies, though at this point I don't know how it could be suitably cast, and City of Angels.
In the Heights.Just think it would adapt well.
Darren Aronovsky's Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812.
Miss saigon would be amazing!! Hamilton too.
I'd love to see "Miss Saigon" & "Waitress" as musical films, as I think they would bought translate very well onscreen.

SUNSET BOULEVARD with Streisand.....twenty years ago. I'm having trouble casting it with a current actress in her fifties who could act and sing the hell out of the role.
In no apparent order: 1. La Cage Aux Follies 2. Parade 3. Spring Awakening 4. A Little Night Music
RAG TIME absolutely a must.FOLLIES.....With reuniting and bringing back old time movie favorites of the 50's and 60's like Pat Boone, Ann Margaret, Tommy Sands, Connie Francis etc.
