Yes, Betty posted that she is in NYC to begin rehearsals. I would assume they began this week.

If Horace is indeed the talented but not-famous Broadway actor who was mentioned on here a few months ago, I'm not sure why they're waiting to announce? Maybe one of the other principal roles is still open or someone dropped out?

It's likely that she will have rehearsals on her own, then a week of principal rehearsal before incorporating the ensemble. Based on recent history, I wouldn't expect full company rehearsal until the second week of August, with a casting announcement not much sooner than then.
