I share a best friend with Liliane Montevecchi and he is asking that we send prayers her way as she is not doing well. Lilianne, as anyone can attest to who has seen her perform, is a dynamo with spirit and energy beyond most mortals. She has been battling health issues these past two years and needs whatever spiritual thoughts and blessings we can send her way.The incredible Lilianne Montevecchi performing her knockout number "Folies Bergeres" at the Royal Festival Hall, London.

She lived a great life with numerous career milestones.  Rest in peace, Ms. Montevecchi.  

I can still recall her fabulousness in the original 1982 Broadway production of NINE all these decades later.  

Yes, that's the delicious Montevecchi at the far right.  Gorgeous!

My goodness, such sadness. I have so little to add but I adored her and if it counts for anything, I have numerous friends who worked with her and loved her, just loved her.

Such sad news , RIP
