Yeah although Donna is really dead, she's still in the movie a lot. Someone said the scene where Sophie and Donna's spirit in the chapel will move you to tears

There's 20 songs on the final credits but only 18 on the movie soundtrack, according to iTunes, Spotify, Deezer.... I'm wondering which songs were cut from the album.

BOO! No Summer Night City??

Interesting that there appear to be reprises of some songs from the first film. I especially excited about When I Kissed the Teacher, One of Us, I've Been Waiting For You, Kisses of Fire and My Love My Life as these are some of my favorites. Unsure about Hole in Your Soul...it's really a lower tier ABBA song. At least it isn't Move On...
BOO! No Summer Night City??
”Summer Night City” was in the stage show during early previews in London. Shortly after Sophie puts the 3 letters in the mail slot, “Summer Night City” kicked in and cleverly introduced all the characters.

The audio of it in the show is around somewhere. I feel they would have wedged it in the sequel somehow

Crazily, was hoping for "The Visitors," one of the most electric dance tracks every recorded, and 80s defining. I had hoped it might turn up just to mix up the first tier hits.
Anyone else remember the long version, including the terrific instrumental, to "Visitors?" You couldn't NOT hear it in the 80s. But to be fair, it's very atypical of the original Abba sound.

I'm holding out for "Mamma Mia! How Can I Resist You," which will contain essential ABBA tracks like "King Kong Song," "Dum Dum Diddle" and "I'm a Marionette."
Don't forget the classics Bang a Boomerang, Nina Pretty Ballerina, The Piper and What About Livingstone!

The entire final album from ABBA was genius. Their sound was constantly being refined, taking advantage of change in trends and new technology. Arrival marked the first major shift for them after their first three albums, catapulting them into the stratosphere with Dancing Queen which was the segue to their milestone album, The Album. Voulez-Vous is viewed more of a transition "disco" album, but I've always held it in high regard, especially for its inclusion of I Have a Dream and Chiquitita. Super Trouper was the next milestone while The Visitors was sadly, mostly forgotten, with the exception of Slipping Through My Fingers, due to the musical, and Madonna's cover of Like an Angel Passing Through My Room recorded for her album Music, but "officially" unreleased.
I would have delighted in seeing a couple more of their post-album singles as they did with Under Attack (which was stupidly left out of the film version). You Owe Me One is delightful; Just Like That ("officially" unreleased) is a terrific earworm, though not in the "saxophone version" (I especially like the alternate version recorded by Gemini, but a hybrid of it and the original would be optimal); and The Day Before You Came would be difficult to use, but is probably their most surprising and mysterious song.
So bang, a boom-a-boomerang is love. A boom-a-boomerang is love.

I thought it was pretty obvious from the trailer. At least that's what i inferred.

The soundtrack is available on streaming services and have to say, it's very good. Think my favourite is Angel Eyes and My Love, My Life.

Lili James sings beautifully!
I wonder how The day before you came is used in the movie...

I really don’t care much about the young Donna and her story.

Can anyone who has seen the movie tell me how much the younger versions appear in the movie?

If the trailers and track listing are any indication, that looks to be the main plot of the movie.

That's what I'm afraid of. It's so weird because Mamma Mia works cuz of its star power and now they are sidelined for stories no one cares about

Star power has nothing to do with it!! Mamma Mia works because of the music!!

Would it be crazy to place Lily James on the list of the potential actresses to play Glinda in the Wicked movie?

They had press conferences with the cast and creatives in Sweden, Germany, and UK so far.
Just look on YouTube for vids of press conferences.
