While this song was for a male character - there's nothing in the lyrics that restricts it:
Goodbye Until Tomorrow - The Last 5 Years
Goodbye, Old Girl - Damn Yankees (I know its for a man, but it is a beautiful song)
What I Did For Love - A Chorus Line
Hard to Say Goodbye - Dreamgirls (could be sung as a solo)
And this song isn't so much about leaving rather imagining someplace else but
Somewhere That's Green - Little Shop of Horrors
"Leaving's Not the Only Way to Go" - Big River
"Every Time We Say Goodbye" - Cole Porter
"Move On" - Sunday In The Park With George
Not really -about- leaving, per se, but the central number in a scene about moving to a new location, and could potentially be fitting:
"You've Got a Friend" from Beautiful

"Growing Up" - Merrily We Roll Along
"Go Home, Train" (grammatically it needs a comma, but I don't have the score in front of me) and "I'm Goin' Back" are two of my favorites. Jule Styne sure knew his way around a Broadway torch song.
To the OP, if you have a strong belt, you might also look at "Wherever He Ain't" from MACK AND MABEL.
So Long, Dearie (Hello, Dolly)
I'm Going Back (Pajama Game)
No Goodbyes (Over Here)
When Your Lover Says Goodbye (Coco)
Jarethan wrote: "I'm Going Back (Pajama Game)"
I've never heard of a song called "I'm Going Back" in The Pajama Game...
He meant "I'm Goin' Back" from BELLS ARE RINGING.
It's another man's song, but I've heard women sing it to great effect: "I Don't Remember" from STARTING HERE, STARTING NOW.
And if the OP wants a standard, she could easily sing "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair". Women's chorus optional.
There's always "So Long, Dearie" from HELLO,YOU-KNOW-WHO.
