Is this a joke? Kirk and Spock did NOT found Starfleet Academy. The Academy existed as early as the 2140s to train United Earth Starfleet personnel. It was officially incorporated into the Federation in 2161 with the motto Ex Astris, Scientia, to serve as a training facility for Federation Starfleet officers.

Spock was commissioned as a Starfleet officer in 2250 and Kirk didn't even start at Starfleet Academy until 2252!!!
