It popped up on TDF so I grabbed a ticket. I have read about it but have never been. I have always wanted to see something at The Town Hall so figured this might be fun. I am only familiar with one performer listed for this evening.

Going as well. Got comp tix for it last night. Saw one last year, They featured 2007-2016. A few more names I was familiar with last year (I remember Brandon Uranowitz, Alice Ripley, Christiane Noll). It was ok. It was pretty much a concert of different artists singing different broadway showtunes.
Standouts for me were Rooney's MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, Alvin's NOBODY'S SIDE, Faulkenberry's PLAYING NANCY and Michaels' KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN.
Did not know that it attracted the crowd it does. Lots of cranky senior citizens. Lots of complaining, pushiness in the lobby and a woman screaming at the box office because someone else was paying attention to the open window right behind her and walked to it when waved over. She had a FIT! Started screaming how she was next and went and shoved the man out of the way, continuing to scream while getting her ticket.
My tdf seat wax good, even though I moved. Had dead center row G in the balcony. Moved to the second row of the balcony house right 4 seats in. For this i am sure the view was fine from anywhere in the house.
