Regina understudy in Mean Girls

I was wondering if anyone besides Taylor has gone on in the role yet. I know she's taking a vacation from the show in August and was curious about her understudies.

I haven't seen the show yet but from the album I can't believe she sings like that 8 shows a week. Very curious to know how someone else would sound doing the role as I imagine it's very tailor made for her.

Taylor has not missed a show at all between their DC out of town try out and now on Broadway. Her vacation is the first time she'll be out of the show. A friend of mine asked Jonalyn (one of the two understudies for Regina) if she knew her date[s] for that week and she said she wasn't able to say. Becca (the other cover) is a swing and has gone on for ensemble tracks and Jonalyn went on as Karen not too long ago, so I'm definitely interested to see them play Regina at some point.

Insiders say that Tina Fey is in negotiations with getting Lindsay Lohan to take over the role of Regina George during Taylor’s vacation break.

Per her Instagram story, looks like Taylor is going home to visit family and will be out of the matinee today. Becca Petersen is making her Regina debut!

Becca Petersen will be on as Regina today and Taylor seems to be taking a well deserved personal day not a full vacation.
