Hello I am thinking of seeing the Fathom Events movie theatre presentation of Bandstand two weeks from today. I checked out a few videos and it looks so good. Would anyone recommend the show for me

It is one of my very favorite scores in recent years, plus it's a wholly original work, which I always admire. It's not perfect, but nothing is. It's one of the shows, along with Groundhog Day, that I think might have had a very different path had it opened this season instead of as part of the incredibly crowded 2016-2017 season. I've got my tickets for it already and am really looking forward to seeing the filmed version!

I would mostly see it for Laura Osnes and Andy Blank's dancing. I loved his choreography in In the Heights

It is worth seeing.

I loved the first half and was bored rigid by the 2nd half, which was a huge disappointment.

I felt exactly the same way about Groundhog Day.

The end of Act 1 was goosebumps and a few tears for me. Already bought my tickets. :)

It's one of my favorite shows ever (and I've seen a LOT of shows). Great heart, great talent. Highly recommended!

Anyone know if these fantom events have intermissions?

I remember there being an intermission during the Fathom event of Miss Saigon when that happened. And then another sort of intermission after the show ended before they showed a bunch of extra bonus stuff.

Yes, it's worth seeing.  I saw the show last year in NYC and really enjoyed it.  It's unfortunate that it didn't last very long.

I really enjoyed the screening two weeks ago. But I prefer Newsies and Memphis combined
