There is a long thread on these message boards on bad audience behavior.  It looks like that behavior has extended to the stage as well.

Yeah, such bad behavior that the whole house stood up in unison. If you were in the audience, I imagine you would've stayed seated. I recall being criticized on this board for merely asking what Michael Riedel's political leaning was by Elphaba (?) saying I was off base by asking such a question on this board. Wake up people and see what's happening in this country.
