Does anyone know if CBS or anyone will be streaming the creative arts / pre-primetime awards that they give out starting at 7pm online anywhere? I remember they used to show this on possibly tonyawards.com and wanted to check if we can find it anywhere this year.

I know they change from year to year for some awards which ones will be at that ceremony and which are saved for prime time (like book and score and director for some reason). Hopefully there's a way we can see them all somehow.

In this era of Facebook live, it would probably be a good idea for them to show the pre-telecast awards.

Knowing CBS, they will probably bury the best score award (Yazbek) during commercials like they did with Jason Robert Brown for Bridges but place best book during the live telecast to showcase a possible win from the bigger name Tina Fey.

The Tony Award Broadcast is only a giant corporate commercial.

The live stream of the Drama Desk was to celebrate the actual art of theater.

Looking at the list of presenters, a couple of them seem viable for presenting Score (Billy Joel and Andrew Lloyd Webber), though I could see the latter presenting Best Musical.

I will say that if Book is presented on the air this year, and Itamar Moses wins for The Band’s Visit (as I’m expecting him to), then those who were hoping to see Tina Fey up on the podium will be pretty disappointed.

My guess is that Billy Joel is there to introduce Springsteen's performance.

I actually think Best Score will be televised because of the SPONGBOB nominees. Lots of big names there.

Creative awards are usually uploaded to Youtube afterwards, so you may just have to wait.

Bruce Springsteen should present best score right after he performs.
