Diet Leading up to Auditions#1

Hi!!

I'm auditioning for Newsies this Monday and the show gets cast the following day and we rehearse every day for a month. I've been doing everything I possibly can to prepare; I've been practicing my audition material for an hour or more everyday and I'm very concerned about being the most in shape I can possibly be, for singing and dancing.

I've been running two miles every day and doing constant bicep training as well as doing some Broadway jazz and tap workshops.

I've also been avoiding dairy and I've been skipping breakfast for fasting and eating one hard-boiled egg for lunch and dinner.

Is all this healthy for all the singing and dancing I'll have to do? Or do I need to step it up?

It's definitely NOT healthy to be eating only 2 hard  boiled eggs.  You need a BALANCED diet. Protien, veggies AND fat.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
