City Center Encores seating question #1
Posted: 6/5/18 at 10:55am

I am planning to buy tickets to the Encores production of  A Chorus Line at City Center. I am planing to buy $75 tickets, which are available for the front row balcony and the side back Mezz. Out of the the two sections which is better? The Balcony seems really high and far back and the side back Mezz is far back and under the balcony. What do you guys recommend for the best view to enjoy the show?   Thank you!

Do not get the back Mezz tickets. Get the front row balcony or even better the second row. There is a bar there and it can be annoying for the first row. You are much better up there than in the back of the Mezz especially off to the side. Believe me!!!!

I agree. The balcony overhang in the rear mezz seats does make a difference with the theater experience. I'd much rather sit in the front balcony than rear mezz.

The Balcony is high-up, but it's still a good view, even on the front sides. (And it's probably a good place to be for a dance show like A Chorus Line.) Definitely better than the rear mez.
