I think because it was incorrect and alleging potentially untrue things? Like he's bringing in dancers and not letting the show regulars perform... as opposed to adding dancers to fill the Radio City stage.

Of course, policing untrue things is not a job I'd want to take on around here, but it's their site.

Was it, though? I’m genuinely asking. The last I looked the thread had about 10 responses. However, at this moment if it was untrue, no one seems to have informed the cast as their social media pages still seem full of outrage.

I had the thread open just  before it was deleted and the OP had removed his origianlal post on it, saying he'd only repeated what he say on social media.

If something is untrue, and about the Tony Awards, it usually gets deleted around this time of year.  Also, some people don't like people speculating on their Tony performances.  Scott? Can I get a comment, bro?

It was initially reported via twitter and here that Scott Rudin hired non cast ballet dancers to perform the Blow High/Low song on the Tonys and not allowing the cast to perform other than to use their voices to sing the song.   They are now saying it wasn't true, but that he was adding dancers b/c the current cast isn't large enough to fill Radio's stage.  The thread that discussed  the cast replacement accusation was deleted.

"example of censorship here at BWW"? This is a Broadway message board. The thread was an idiotic attempt to start drama that literally did not exist and was then deleted. 

I'm glad the mods are greater action at policing this board. It has become a dumpster fire of bitchiness in the last two years and has frankly become an industry joke. Even a show coming in next season is going to poke major jokes at this boards expense, ya'll will have a meltdown.
