This is inevitably going to happen at some point, right?

It'd help if you put a question mark in your subject line so this doesn't look like an announcement.

I thought that should have been him when I saw it off-Broadway. Get as many ITH OBC up there, etc.

Yes please put a question mark on the title. I was misled in opening this thread. But I think Robin would be great in the role. I think Robin would give the role (which I think is underrated) more fire and lasting impression. I could also see Robin as Hamilton.

I think he's pushing it a bit age-wise, since nearly everyone who has done this role has been in their 20s.

I could not see him as Hamilton at all.

Lin-Manuel Miranda was 36.  But regardless of age,  Robin De Jesus is still completely wrong for the part.

If he was going to be in Hamilton, he probably would have done it already on Bway, Chicago, or one of the 2 tours, right? He hasn't seemed all that busy in the past few years (though he did do Wicked for a year or so).

He's a talented guy. He'd be a hilarious King George.

Pretty sure he was talking about the age of whomever played Laurens/Phillip and THEN responded about him not being right for Hamilton.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

You would be correct, although I can see how it could be misinterpreted.
