Hi, I am currently in a theater group who original thought we could do noises off. But, apprantly issues have appeared in the concept of building a 2 story set on the tiny stage we have. So I am currently looking for some advice in what public domain shows would the group of about 10 or 12 people on a small stage be able to produce?

I would suggest Peter and the Star Catcher, Bright Lights Big City, Hello Again, Assassins, Little Women, Cabaret, Rocky Horror, A New Brain, or Lucky Stiff.

Hope I was able to help!

I'm assuming since your first choice was a play you are still looking for a non-musical?  And a comedy?

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)  You can cast as few as 3 and as many as 30.

Run for Your Wife (I think there might be both a musical AND non musical version, but I might be thinking of the wrong play.)

Look at a bunch of things my Ken Lugwig

A number of plays by Neil Simon

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
