That’s usually part of Mr. Snow on some different cast album versions of the show.

Thank goodness they're using the show artwork; nothing against Joshua Henry being front/center on the Playbill, but the art for this show is just so gorgeous.

Still confused why they're using the artwork for the marquee, promotional materials, and even the cast album, but not the frigging playbill. The cherry on top of a horrific production.

I kind of like that it’s the same layout/shape of the Dolly recording. I would have loved a more complete recording of this, though, like a PS Classics-type with dialogue and extended sequences, play outs, etc. I sometimes wish that for any recording. But I’m glad we get a recording at all.

I see they're advertising the CD at the link the OP posted--any idea if there'll be a digital download and/or vinyl release?

The Playbill is so awful, you would think they would have changed it to match their gorgeous artwork.  What was even the point of it anyways if they were not going to put it on the most important thing (physically) you leave with?

Track list gets pretty short when you cut 3 numbers from the show.

The orchestrations sound very lovely on the recording. I was worried this might be like the Dolly recording from last season, but I find this livelier.

I enjoyed Henry and Mueller's 'If I Loved You' a lot more on the recording than I did in the production, though I did see it very early in previews when there were a bunch of complaints about their chemistry.

It's out digitally in some countries, had an international friend nab it for me.

Listening to the album now. Sounds wonderful. Very disappointed that you can’t get the Ballet on the digital copy.... I don’t know why that is the way that it is. I was really looking forward to hearing the orchestra play that piece.

People are going to listen to this album for years, having not seen the production, and not believe me I tell them how abysmal this production was to sit through.

Because the album really is gorgeous.

Having only seen Jessie in Beautiful and Waitress, I am so Impressed at how lyrical and gorgeous her voice sounds singing these songs. What a versatile talent she is.

Some of the accents during the dialogue on this album.... yikes. It’s so harsh.

It's worse in the theatre.  There was no need for anyone to be performing in anything that wasn't a standard America dialect.  It added nothing to this production.  It was only a major distraction.

Lindsay Mendez's "Mister Snow"... OMG. Like a light, beautiful breath of fresh air. I predicted that this production, while awful on stage, would lend way to a great cast recording. So far, I'm right.

It would actually be a mostly enjoyable recording if it weren't for the cut songs. Overall, I still prefer the 1994 recording with Audra McDonald even though that production cut "Highest Judge of All." Maybe one day we'll get a revival with all of the songs.
