Upcoming Pre-Broadway Musicals

I've really appreciated a few posters who track confirmed shows for next season, or next seasons tours. 

i havent been able to find a single source for pre-broadway musical tryouts (other than playbills list which often doesnt have detail info). There are exciting shows in the pipeline like Moulin Rouge, Little Jagged Pill, and others.  

Does anyone have a great single source, or is someone on the board willing to act as an source to summarize upcoming pre-broadway musical tryouts?

Seconding this request, it'd be interesting to see everything in the pipeline. The only ones I know about are some near me in DC - The Girlfriend at the Signature Theater, and Beetlejuice premiering at the National Theater in the fall.

As you stated, Playbill has a roster of possible future shows. I generally take a look at it once every 3 months.

The most fascinating entries are the shows that have appeared on the list for several years.

Ain’t Too Proud to Beg is playing DC this summer and Toronto late fall.  I believe Broadway is still on their radar.  It’s definitely a stronger show then some things we got this season.

The Flamingo Kid is supposed to premiere at Hartford Stage starting May 9, 2019.

Hadestown is opening in London in a November and I f’ing hope it’s the next stop on the way to broadway.

No idea if there are any plans to go to Broadway but since the upcoming season is currently lackluster, I will be funneling my theater-going dollars into off-Broadway. Beast in the Jungle, Carmen Jones, Little Rock, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, This Ain't No Disco, and Be More Chill are currently on my radar.

I don't know if there are Broadway aspirations yet, but Chicago will be premiering Heartbreak Hotel this summer from the creators of Million Dollar Quartet.  It's being billed as a prequel, focusing on the songwriting relationship of Elvis Presley and Sam Phillips.
