I've always admired your fecund wit.
according to their schedule, there's no Wednesday matinee this week. They have a Sunday evening performance instead.

I've noticed that they're only giving 7 performances this week. How does EQUITY allow this?

I agree, they should wait until half hour and then tell people...

Equity doesn't have any control as to how tickets are sold. If the producers want to cancel a performance Equity can't stop them, only make sure that the cast is still paid for that performance if notice wasn't given to them in accordance with the contract.

Sunday is last week.
But it could be an awkward changing of the schedule.
And, yes, Equity only cares that their people are paid correctly, not how many performances they do.
Sorry for your disappointment.
They have a Sunday evening performance this week, too. They're doing 8 shows this week. Tues-Fri evenings, with two shows on Saturday AND Sunday.

Equity certainly cares about too many performances in a week, but very rarely do they care about too few.

One person In the group had the audacity to say she'd already seen HELLO, DOLLY! I mean, really, to tell ME that?

Your group is probably surprised when they are given the choice to see anything BUT Dolly.

That's almost true. Even straight men have taken to calling me "Dolly" and I answer to it.
