Laurie Beechman Theatre Tony Award Viewing Party Experience

I was wondering if any of y’all have gone to the Tony Award Viewing Party af the Laurie Beechman Theatre. I was just wondering what to expect. Thanks!

I went last year and it was fine, if you ever been to the Laurie Beechman you know what to expect... except that instead of watching a live performance you are watching a projection!

They handed out the awards playbill which was nice, there was a voting sheet and the winner got a dinner for two at a future date... they play songs from the nominated musicals during the commercial break... I just wish that they played different songs every commercial break instead of just pausing and resuming the same song... because of that I felt I was listening to “Sincerely, Me” from Evan Hansen pretty much all night...

People do get kind of loud when their favorite show wins or loses something, but not to the extend that you can’t hear what’s happening...
