True! And tickets are going on saleon March 7th, which leads me to believe they will have announced the rest of their season by then.

-On another note, Birmingham, AL is announcing their season shortly and it'll include OOTI (Dec 13-15), Les Mis (Jan 7-12), Waitress (Mar 20-22), and Bandstand (Apr 24-26).
"

Doesn't necessarily mean so, but with the 3 might stop it makes me wonder if OOTI is equity or not

Has the Spongebob tour already been cast? The OKC website has a photo of new actors for Spongebob and Sandy. They're also pictured on the set, but I doubt they've already started rehearsal. https://www.okcbroadway.com/spongebob

When a show is going out non-equity, there is, I believe, a clause in the Equity contract that the equity photos can no longer be used to promote the show, so producers will hire actors who fit in the costumes to take a handful of promo shots before new photos and b-roll can be done as the tour is launching.

If you actually look at this photo, it's a shot that doesn't need to be on the set, just a backdrop lit in the appropriate color.

I wouldn’t mind revisiting Dolly and Spongebob again. I might like to finally experience Miss Saigon, too. The rest I’m kinda meh about. After seeing the current spectacular Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, I can’t imagine the tour carrying a torch to it.

I never subscribe because I don’t want to see shows I don’t want to see plus I travel a lot for work.

I would highly recommend giving Come From Away a chance. I've seen it on Broadway twice and have tickets to see it twice when it comes to Orlando. The first time I saw it I went with someone with no desire to see it and they fell in love with it as well.

I have a number of cities (one with dates) in the pipeline for JCS from a good source. No clue on venues as yet, but keep an eye on cities from this list.

August 4-9, 2020: Greenville, SC (only one I know dates for, source reckons it might be the Peace Center)

Other cities I know about (alphabetical order): Charlotte, NC; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Des Moines, IA

I’ll try the prediction game for Albuquerque—
Charlie and Chocolate Factory
Hello Dolly
Something Rotten
Bronx Tale
Some other tour that has been out for 2-3 years or is being revived
No definite date for announcement that I know of

I’ve seen CFA before on Broadway. Not its biggest fan, unfortunately. It was actually my least favorite of the six shows I saw that trip. I suppose I might impulsively buy a ticket when it is on tour to give it a second chance, but I can’t say I’m excited about it.

Any predictions for Tampa?
Based on the other 4 major florida cities, I’d predict:
- Miss Saigon
- Mean Girls
- Escape To Margaritaville
- Aladdin
- Summer

Wild Card Tossups
- Band’s Visit (not announced for any other FL cities thus far though in the past Straz has gotten other shows as their only FL stop such as Fun Home and If/Then)
- Once On This Island (not announced for any other FL cities thus far)
- Spongebob (not announced for any other FL cities thus far)
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (only announced for Miami thus far)
- Bandstand (only announced for Fort Lauderdale thus far)

- Jesus Christ Superstar (only announced for Miami thus far)

Frozen and Wicked (again) probably/maybe in the 2020-2021 season.

A quick calendar of announcements happening this week that I know of...

-Monday: Costa Mesa (officially...or see post below), Omaha (6:30 PM CST), Lincoln#, and Memphis (6 PM CST)

-Tuesday: Cleveland (7:30 PM EST) and Atlanta(?)

-Wednesday: St. Paul (7 PM CST)

-Thursday: Dayton (5:30 PM EST)

#Lincoln may have an official reveal, but I plan to have my site updated around 8 AM EST with their season's shows.

--I'd also expect announcements from Ft. Myers and a partial announcement from the Hanover in Worcester.

--And although an announcement was in the works for Detroit, according to a rep there, they are in delays as usual as they're still in negotiations with a couple of shows.

The date to watch out for is March 11th. So far, I've got six announcements happening that day, but more could be added. I also got an email from the Grand Opera House in Macon, GA that is surveying their patrons for shows to come this season. Among the 15 shows they listed, it looks like they're focusing on brining in OOTI, AAIP, Bandstand, or The Band's Visit.

Only thing mentioned on here so far is Come From Away. I'm expecting something like The Bands Visit, Mean Girls, CFA, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, and hoping for Once On This Island or Torch Song to make its way here as well. Usually Boston misses one or 2 of the new tours so I can see them waiting for My Fair Lady possibly. We shall see! I'm expecting The Lion King to return as well.

Tampa season kickoff invite came (twice, the first time with a misprint), and is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory golden ticket themed. I can’t figure out how to insert an image but it states “Get ready for an evening full of pure imagination with hilarious SiriusXM On Broadway radio host Christine Pedi plus live performances from Broadway shows coming to The Straz next season!” and “Whimsical desserts, fizzy lifting drinks & a chance to meet the performers.” I dont live close enough to make it on a Monday night (March eighteenth)  but I will be watching their social media.  Wasn’t fully expecting Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so that was a little surprising.

It appears the COME FROM AWAY tour will start their 2019 leg on the East coast. Hearing Boston, Providence, Washington DC & Philly from Sept. - Dec.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Shows usually don't play Boston and Providence in the same season, since they draw from the same audience. If it plays Boston this time around, it probably won't arrive in Providence until 2020-21 season; a year from the Boston date at the earliest.

There are exceptions to this. MEMPHIS' first national played Boston and Providence back to back, and it's the same set of lead producers....  not saying that'll happen again, but it certainly does not exclude the possibility that they might play both cities in the same season. Similarly, shows go from Dallas-Fort Worth (or the reverse) frequently, even though they pull from each other's markets.

School of Rock is in Boston right now and is playing Providence next week. Usually doesn't happen but that's basically 3 weeks in New England in a row which may be smart. But it does happen from time to time.

What you said is definitely true for Worcester   since they get things a season after Boston but I often had the opportunity to choose between seeing things in either Providence or Boston the same season especially since it seems Providence often gets the opening tour slot for a show.
