The entire time, I was wishing that I had my eyes shut and was just listening to the cast/orchestra rather than watching the community theatre production starting Broadway talent of Carousel currently trying to bamboozle a dumb public into spending $209 for orchestra seats.
$40 in rush could have been saved by just illegally downloading the cast recording when it comes out.
This will make a MUCH BETTER cast recording than it makes a production because it is a truly wretched production.

Queens have such an axe to grind with this production, I find it hilarious. Can't wait for the CD.

Or maybe a lot of us didn't like it, you (redacted by Broadway World moderators)

I can only speak for myself, and I didn't strongly dislike this production or anything, but its portrayal of the story and many of the production elements were misguided. The big numbers were over-choreographed, they omitted numbers that ruined a character arc and the set design was incredibly underwhelming in comparison to the last Broadway revival.
The saving grace of this revival for me was the performances and orchestrations, so I'm glad we're at least getting a cast recording out of this.
Yea we get you didn't like it. But some people feel the need to plaster the same middle school level spite on every single thread mentioning the show. It's hilarious.

Maybe it's not "middle school level spite." Maybe people are mad that they spend between $200-$40 to see a community theatre level direction/sets/costumes/concept.
I'll personally keep talking about how dismal the production is so that people don't waste their money/time on it.
Most people I am sure saw you and others post it the other thirty, fifty times. They will see it if they want to, and as much as you want everyone to be as bitter as you, gasp they might even enjoy it. If you paid premium prices and hated it, that's on you.
Done pot stirring for the day, I am still excited for the CD.

I've made three posts about seeing this production after having seen it.
In actuality it wasn't quite you I was referring to. You just happened to be on the receiving end of a kranky afternoon. Plus sweeping generalizations make for better arguments. LOL
