"A Crowd Of A Thousand ( Guys Part ) "Anastasia song for Once Upon A Mattress

I am auditioning for my High School spring musical and we are doing Once Upon A Mattress and I REALLY want to be Sir Harry. I am a Baritenor ( it is basically a low tenor or a really high baritone ). I found a good song and I wanted your guy's thoughts. I am thinking about doing the song called " A Crowd of a Thousand " from Anastasia. I am doing the first 1.5 min of the songs which is the guys part and the director said that I already could do a duet song but only sing the part of one character.
