I compete in a dance competition in which there is a musical theatre category. I am looking at choreographing a piece for myself to the song 'Paris Orginal' from 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying'. The song involves the character being ripped off as her dress is in fact not the only one of its kind. In my solo, I am not allowed to have anyone else on stage beside myself (or else it counts as a duet or group dance) so I was wondering how I could signify the other girl/s in the song with the same dress without them being there. I am allowed to have dialogue in the song as well as cut the music. If someone could help me out I would be very grateful. Thank you!
