I’m going to be auditioning for AMDA in September and I have no idea what to pick for a monologue and I have a few ideas for a song, but some help would be much appreciated. I’m a mezzo soprano and I’m good at playing characters like Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Rose (Gypsy), Miss Hannigan (Annie), etc. My biggest issue is finding a monologue that suits me, but that also fits my age since most of the characters that I know I’d be good at playing are older women. Please help....
