Hello All- As I posted in the seating thread, I have 2 tickets that can no longer be used. They were purchased the week after the policy changed.
I only want to get what I paid back, or I would be willing to exchange with comparable seats for a later date too. If it would help, I would even be willing to cover the ticketmaster fees that were added on if need be, so that you would only pay the listed price. I just can't afford to lose the full price. I'm hopeful that someone will be able to use them. I loved the shows when I saw them last week.
Seats are Dress Circle Row H, Center, Seats 103 and 104. Part 1: Thurs. 5/24, Part 2: Fri. 5/25. 7:30 both nights. I paid $199 per seat per part. Total was $851.50 with fees. Total without fees is $796.
I can transfer immediately via ticketmaster. Paypal or Venmo is the easiest.

Call Ticketmaster and ask for a supervisor....don't let the rep say "I'll take care of it." Just say you have an issue and you want to speak to a supervisor and would rather not discuss it with anyone else. Tell supv that you cannot go to that show. If you can find seats for that show on another date, ask to exchange them for that date. If you need a refund, only a supervisor can do that. They have to call the box office for approval. I got mine refunded b/c of a screwup on their end. Good luck.
Yes, make sure you're calling Ticketmaster Arts. The Ticketmaster standard for concerts and sporting events is no refunds, no exceptions. Theater is different, but phone reps don't know. http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/order-by-phone.html
Ticketmaster keeps saying it is the venue that is denying the refund. I tried calling the Lyric Box Office, and the operator keeps dropping my call when they attempt to transfer me. Nothing is ever easy! Thank you for your suggestions and support. I will keep trying.
