I'm visiting to New York next week and have figured out all of my slots for shows, except for my last one--I'm having trouble deciding between Lobby Hero and Summer and Smoke. For the former, I would get a 30under30 ticket, and the latter I would do student rush (has anyone tried student rush for this show?). Reviews for both are kind of hard to get a pulse on. The other straight play's I'll be seeing are Travesties and Three Tall Women. Thanks for your help!

Definitely Lobby Hero. No question! I found Summer and Smoke really dull. Marin Ireland is great, and it's a decent play (if not top-shelf Williams), but the production is thin and misguided. Overall a very forgettable evening.

Lobby Hero on the other hand, I thought was riveting, with great performances from all 4 actors.

Lobby Hero 30 Under 30 is sold out for the rest of the run so that might make your decision do you.

...and LOBBY HERO closes on 5/13, so yeah.

I really liked Lobby Hero, and if you can get  ticket, go.

I'd avoid Summer and Smoke at all costs. It's a slog.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
