dmwnc1959, I googled that phrase and it's from Theatermania, not BWW — but it is a little weird that ONLY Theatermania is the one that used that precise wording.

So excited to see this on Tuesday!! I’m sad, as it’s probably the only tour stop I’ll get to see and I’m not ready to say goodbye to this production but I am so ready!

Here is hoping Betty is fantastic. I can’t believe I’m finally seeing her live!

Sent an email to Cleveland’s Playhouse Square Director of Marketing and got this reply...

Hi David,

Thank you for reaching out. I can confirm that the official opening night for HELLO, DOLLY! is Friday, October 5.

Never been to the “official opening night” of a National Tour, and figured since I was going up already, and that (hopefully) this show is worth seeing twice...

...soooo, I bought another ticket to see the show! Now I’m seeing it twice: the evening show on the 5th and the matinee on the 6th.

Looking forward to all of the reviews from Utica Tuesday and Wednesday!!!
