Any actors could've done this show, and going forward many more likely will. But without Crowley, this show never would've happened. It's like getting Eugene Oneill, Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, August Wilson, etc.

Without Crowley, there likely would not have been a Tony Kushner for Angels/America. I even got a pic of him. That's a memory for me!

I got Mart Crowley to sign my playbill too! He was very happy to be recognized. He got the biggest cheers at the stage door.

So glad to hear Crowley came to stage door. I was at final show and was sorry that the director and playwright didn't get on stage to thank cast as they did in Great Comet.  Yet, GC is the only show in last 18 months that did that.

I didn't wait on stage door as I had all my 'graphs, including Crowley...sorry I didn't get Mantello b/c I didn't have my script or poster at show, but I got photo of him in theater.  The SD was too crowded. I got their pix previously. Would've liked a better shot of Zach, but so be it.  Sorry to see them go. Between Boys and Angels, the best stuff just left Broadway.  What's next?

Yeah, Crowley was three rows behind me, so I got him to sign my window card before the show. I already had everyone else on it, including Mantello, so only brought it for Crowley and perhaps Murphy, who wasn't in attendance.

Sorry I missed that Poison Ivy.  Crowley deserved the biggest hand and has for the last 15 weeks. I'm just sorry he didn't come on stage at the end. If he had, the applause would've been more for him. He sat about 3 rows in front of me. I was sad that the audience and cast on the stage didn't acknowledge him. Please don't say that is tradition. This man changed the story of the gay world fifty years ago and deserved a stage tribute. At least I got him to inscribe my script book that I bought. I told him it meant more to me that he signed than anyone. Kudos to him.

Now I feel sorry for that lady who came soooooo many times trying to get her poster complete. If she only knew that if she just came closing night she would be able to get it completed in one swoop. Of course, she had no way of knowing that. Lolz
