Unusual message from Telecharge

I don't get many private messages on BroadwayWorld but I got one today from a user that must have read my post about my difficulties purchasing Dolly tickets online. I have to think this is not a way Telecharge would reach out to customers. Here is the message. Anyone else get this?

We were so sorry to hear that you were experiencing issues with the website on Saturday. Can you please let us know which IP or email address you were using so that we can research this problem?

They've messaged me before and it was fine. In fact, I think this is awesome customer service

I think it would be a little bit more legit if they'd posted publicly in reply to your public post (I know I've seen customer service from one of the lotto sites replying on here, when people have posted about lotto problems, and I think there's a Jujamcyn (?) theatres person who posts on here in response to issues at the theatre, etc.), it's like those companies where, when you complain on Twitter, they ask you to DM so as to stop your public complaining, but I too think it's pretty good customer service.

Your IP address and email are typically things people would not want to post publicly, though.

Oh yeah I didn't mean post that info publicly! I meant the initial Telecharge reaching out - post on the thread in question "hi, this is Eric from Telecharge [message about would like to correct web issue] Can you please message me here, or email me at [e-mail]?"

Or, I wonder if the mods here can vouch that TC Web Feedback is actually someone from Telecharge's corporate office?

Why? It's an issue YOU had.  They've responded here before both publicly and privately.  Nice that they are paying attention.

 

Just like YOU don't want your email address "out there", neither does  ERIC.....he has a job to do and dozens and dozens of peeps would be sending him unneeded emails from here with questions that are not in his realm.
