Should I just do California or East Coast. It would mean missing Harry Potter and Cursed Child. But the other would mean not going to my sisters city of Palo Alto. I cannot do both with my 70 year old dad. He has trouble travelling.

I think you have your answer. Unless Dad is YUGE Harry Potter FAN ,family has to Trump (GEDDIT?)

a theatre performance. HP will be around for a good while ( Maybe not as long as Phantom but certainly Producers level) there will be another time.
